Blood sampling

During the intake, you will be given forms to have blood drawn. You can make an appointment online at Certe This blood test is important because it can reveal possible consequences for you and your baby. If necessary, we can recommend additional tests or adjustments for your health.

Ultrasounds

Several ultrasounds are available in pregnancy. For more information on medical and non-medically necessary ultrasounds, please visit the page on our website.

Prenatal screening

As parents-to-be, you may wonder if your baby will be healthy. Fortunately, most babies are born healthy. In the Netherlands, you can have certain conditions tested before birth, which is known as prenatal screening. This includes the NIPT (test for Down, Edwards and Patau syndrome), the 13-week ultrasound and the 20-week ultrasound. These tests are not compulsory; the choice to have them done lies with you. We will discuss these options with you during a consultation and guide you in making the right choices. If you decide to have these tests, you will receive the necessary forms from us.
